  • Physical inspection is performed after arrival in Latvia
  • Vehicles are sold “as-is” based on auction condition reports
  • We make reasonable efforts to verify vehicle condition but cannot guarantee condition beyond auction documentation

4.3 Pricing and Costs All costs are provided as estimates and include:

  • Auction purchase price
  • Auction fees
  • International shipping costs
  • Customs duties and import taxes
  • CSDD registration fees
  • Our service fees
  • Any additional costs (inspection, repairs, storage)

Prices are displayed in Euros (EUR) including applicable VAT. Final costs may vary based on:

  1. Service Agreements and Payment 5.1 Service Agreement Process When you request our services, the following process applies:
  • Initial consultation to determine your requirements
  • Vehicle search and identification
  • Cost estimate and timeline provided
  • Service agreement signed
  • Deposit payment required
  • Auction bidding or vehicle purchase
  • Balance payment upon arrival or before registration

5.2 Service Agreement Acceptance A binding service agreement is created when:

  • We send you a written service agreement confirmation
  • You sign the service agreement
  • Initial deposit payment has been received

5.3 Payment Structure Services typically require:

  • Initial deposit (amount specified in service agreement)
  • Progress payments at key milestones
  • Final balance before vehicle delivery

Payment schedule and amounts will be specified in your service agreement.

5.4 Payment Methods We accept:

  • Bank transfers
  • Credit/debit cards
  • Financing arrangements (subject to approval)
  • Other payment methods as agreed in writing

5.5 Payment Terms

  • Deposit is non-refundable once auction bidding begins or vehicle is purchased
  • Progress payments due at specified milestones
  • Final payment required before vehicle delivery
  • Late payments may incur storage or administrative fees
  • All customs duties, taxes, and fees are the customer’s responsibility
  1. Vehicle Import and Delivery 6.1 Import Process The import process includes:
  • Vehicle purchase from auction
  • International shipping to Latvia
  • Customs clearance and duty payment
  • Vehicle inspection upon arrival
  • CSDD registration assistance
  • Final preparation
  • Delivery to specified location

6.2 Timeline Import timelines vary based on:

  • Vehicle location (European vs US auctions)
  • Shipping schedule and method
  • Customs processing time
  • Registration procedures
  • Weather and seasonal factors

Estimated timelines are provided but are not guaranteed. Typical timeframes:

  • European imports: 2-6 weeks
  • US imports: 6-12 weeks

6.3 Customs and Import Duties

  • All customs duties, VAT, and import taxes are the customer’s responsibility
  • Costs are estimated but final amounts determined by customs authorities
  • We provide assistance with customs documentation and clearance
  • Customer must provide necessary documentation for import clearance

6.4 Vehicle Delivery

  • Delivery location specified in service agreement
  • Delivery date scheduled after registration completion
  • Customer must be available to receive vehicle
  • Customer responsible for inspection at delivery
  • Delivery confirmation required at handover

6.5 Risk and Title Transfer Risk and title transfer to customer:

  • Risk transfers upon delivery and vehicle handover
  • Title transfers upon completion of CSDD registration in customer’s name
  • Customer responsible for insurance from point of delivery
  1. Cancellation and Refund Policy 7.1 Service Cancellation You may cancel services subject to the following:

Before Auction Purchase:

  • Full refund minus administrative costs (if specified in agreement)
  • Written cancellation notice required

After Auction Purchase but Before Shipping:

  • Deposit non-refundable
  • Customer responsible for auction purchase price and fees
  • We will assist in reselling vehicle (customer bears any loss)

After Shipping Has Begun:

  • No refunds available
  • Customer responsible for all costs incurred
  • Service agreement remains in full effect

7.2 Our Cancellation Rights We reserve the right to cancel or refuse service if:

  • Vehicle fails to meet minimum condition standards
  • Auction purchase is not successful
  • Customer fails to make required payments
  • Customer provides false or misleading information
  • Import is legally restricted or prohibited

In such cases:

  • Refund of deposit minus costs incurred
  • No liability for consequential damages

7.3 Vehicle Defects and Issues If the vehicle has undisclosed defects or issues not apparent in auction documentation:

  • Report must be made within 7 days of delivery
  • Written documentation and evidence required
  • We will investigate and work toward resolution
  • Options may include: repair cost compensation, partial refund, or return to auction (case-dependent)

7.4 No Right of Withdrawal IMPORTANT: Vehicle imports are custom services and, as such, the standard 14-day consumer right of withdrawal under EU law does NOT apply to vehicle import services once the vehicle purchase has been initiated at auction.

By signing the service agreement, you acknowledge and accept this limitation.

7.5 Dispute Resolution for Vehicle Condition If there is a dispute about vehicle condition:

  • Independent inspection may be arranged
  • Cost of inspection shared or as determined by findings
  • Resolution based on comparison between auction documentation and actual condition
  • Our liability limited to documented discrepancies only
  1. Warranties and Disclaimers 8.1 Service Warranty We warrant that:
  • Services will be performed with reasonable skill and care
  • We work with reputable auction platforms
  • Documentation provided is accurate to the best of our knowledge
  • We comply with applicable Latvian and EU import regulations

8.2 Vehicle Condition IMPORTANT DISCLAIMERS:

  • Vehicles are sold “as-is” based on auction condition reports
  • We are not the manufacturer and provide no manufacturer warranty
  • We cannot guarantee vehicle condition beyond auction documentation
  • Used vehicles may have wear, defects, or issues typical of used vehicles
  • Customer responsible for independent inspection if desired
  • Auction condition reports may not identify all defects

8.3 No Guarantees We do not guarantee:

  • Successful auction bidding
  • Specific vehicle acquisition
  • Exact delivery timelines
  • Vehicle performance or reliability
  • Freedom from defects not disclosed in auction reports
  • Suitability for any particular purpose

8.4 Manufacturer’s Warranty Some vehicles may have remaining manufacturer’s warranty:

  • This is separate from our services
  • Terms set by manufacturer, not by us
  • Transferability subject to manufacturer’s policies
  • We provide assistance with warranty documentation

8.5 Limitation of Liability To the extent permitted by law:

  • Our liability is limited to the service fees paid to us
  • We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages
  • We are not liable for vehicle condition issues disclosed in auction reports
  • We are not liable for delays caused by third parties (auctions, shipping, customs)
  • We are not liable for changes in customs duties, taxes, or regulations

8.6 Customer’s Responsibility The customer is responsible for:

  • Reviewing all auction documentation before approving purchase
  • Understanding risks of buying used vehicles
  • Obtaining independent inspection if desired
  • Vehicle insurance from point of delivery
  • Maintenance and repairs after delivery
  • Compliance with road safety and licensing requirements
  1. Intellectual Property All content on the Website, including:
  • Text, graphics, logos, images
  • Software, code, design
  • Trademarks and brand names

is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not use, reproduce, or distribute any content without our written permission.

11.2 Our maximum liability is limited to:

  • The total service fees paid to us for the specific vehicle in question
  • This does not include reimbursement of vehicle purchase price, shipping, customs, or other third-party costs

11.3 Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for:

  • Death or personal injury caused by our negligence
  • Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation
  • Gross negligence or willful misconduct
  • Any liability that cannot be excluded by law

11.4 Acknowledgment You acknowledge that:

  • Importing used vehicles involves inherent risks
  • Condition cannot be guaranteed beyond auction reports
  • Timelines are estimates subject to many external factors
  • You accept these risks by engaging our services
  1. Force Majeure We are not liable for delays or failures in performance resulting from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including:
  • Natural disasters
  • War, terrorism, civil unrest
  • Government actions, sanctions, or regulations
  • Port closures or shipping disruptions
  • Labor disputes or strikes
  • Customs delays or policy changes
  • Auction platform failures or closures
  • Currency restrictions or exchange rate volatility
  • Pandemics or health emergencies
  • Technical failures in transportation or logistics

In such events, timelines may be extended without penalty, or service agreements may be terminated with refund of unearned fees.

  1. Dispute Resolution 13.1 Governing Law These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Latvia.

13.2 Jurisdiction Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of our Website shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Latvia.
